Job Description
We are seeking a 1st Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, belts, motors, sensors, and photo eyes.
• Maintain and service labeling machines, shrink tunnels, fillers, cappers, and blow molding equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting and maintaining Yaskawa and Kawasaki robotic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with production teams to resolve mechanical issues quickly and safely.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and repair experience.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Work Environment
This position is based in a high-speed manufacturing facility with a focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous production. The Maintenance Mechanic will work on 1st shift alongside a skilled team of 8 maintenance technicians supporting automated production equipment and robotics. The company provides all necessary tools and equipment required to perform the job. The facility includes a combination of climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas.

This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
