Job Title

Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab (Contract / Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Start Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatments within a 32-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Deliver expected 5 to 6 hours of patient treatment per day
• Perform ADL training and standard inpatient rehabilitation procedures
• Utilize specialized equipment including H200/L300 and BURT systems as part of treatment
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR
• Participate in weekend coverage, with a minimum of 2 weekends per 4-week period expected; float to other inpatient rehab locations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Texas (or eligibility)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Basic knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation principles and practices
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous hands-on experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Availability and willingness to work weekends as part of the regular schedule
• Outgoing, adaptable personality with strong clinical initiative
