As a member of the patient's care team, ICHS' behavioral health program is accountable for the behavioral health care of all ICHS patients through direct referral, indirect review and implementation of guidelines and workflows impacted by the patient's behavioral health. Patients access behavioral health services as a member of their care team. In addition to patient care within the framework of established behavioral health guidelines and ICHS' Principles of Practice and approved by the appropriate licensing board in the State of Washington, the Behavioral Health Specialist functions as a member of the collaborative care team that includes the patient, primary care provider, behavioral health provider, consulting psychiatrist, and other medical staff. This position is responsible for providing integrated behavioral health care within a primary care setting via the Primary Care-Behavioral Health (PCBH) model of care. This position is subject to meeting performance expectations and grant continuation.Education - Graduate degree in mental health field (social work, psychology, counseling, or related field). Experience - Two (2) years' experience providing individual or community health education. Other Requirement(s) - Full, active and unrestricted license to practice as a behavioral healthcare provider in WA State (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC). Fluency in English required: additional fluency in other languages is valued.Saturday shifts may be required for this position.
