POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for collecting on past due and charged off loans, credit cards, and checking accounts. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who shares our vision to “WOW” both internal and external customers with exceptional customer service; comes to work every day with a “Smart, Driven, and Nice” attitude; approaches each task with a strong attention to detail; and works together with other team members to ensure all Loan Servicing responsibilities are completed daily. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Reviews loans for accuracy. Assists team members with questions. Assists in reviewing complex accounts. Responsible for incoming and outgoing collection phone calls on past due and/or charged off loans. Sends Collection letters, provide loan history to customers, process mail returns, etc. Orders payment coupons upon request. Processes correspondence from customers and other departments into our imaging system. Creates Check by phone and Debit payments over the phone. Sends accounts out for Door Knock or Repossession, when appropriate. Provides customer service to branches and other departments. Assists with Bankruptcy case reviews. Answers general loan questions from customers. Ability to train team members on tasks. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year experience within a financial institution preferred. Basic knowledge of all applicable Regulations that pertain to this position is required. Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies, procedures and related programs. Must possess a valid Washington State driver's license. Must be bondable.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and willing and able to learn other software.
