Head of Business Development

EWS Group

Job Responsibilities Market Assessment: Identifying and evaluating new markets, partners, channels, and customers. Networking: Developing a wide network of contacts to stay informed about industry trends and market actions. Research and Analysis: Studying the business environment, competitors, and customers to generate ideas for new products, services, pricing, and business models. Financial Feasibility: Directing financial feasibility studies, proposal development, and negotiations for new business opportunities. Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, sales, product development, and other stakeholders to support business development plans. Job Qualifications Ability to network internally and externally to the benefit of the sales team. Ability to create and present new sales initiatives. Strong sales background with a drive to sell, build, and maintain relationships. Ability to coach and train on new strategies for effective sales and account management. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with strict deadlines. Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and effectively manage and reprioritize work in a changing environment. Ability to adapt to changing environment with a positive "can‑do" attitude to work. Strong attention to detail. Good time management skills, using time effectively and efficiently and concentrating efforts on the more important priorities. Action oriented, full of energy for the things seen as challenging, not being afraid to act with a minimum amount of planning, seizing more opportunities than others. Having considerable perseverance and a need to finish, seldom giving up before finishing, especially in the face of resistance or setbacks. Disciplined at being results driven and counted on to exceed goals successfully. Excellent presentation skills, effective in a variety of formal presentation settings, one‑on‑one, small, and large groups, with peers, direct reports, and bosses. Superior at written communications, being able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles, getting messages across that have the desired effect. Is approachable, easy to talk to, spending the extra effort to put others as ease. Consistently warm, pleasant, gracious and sensitive and patient with the interpersonal anxieties of others. Maintain a strong customer focus, dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Skilled at negotiating in tough situations with both internal and external groups, settling differences with minimal noise, and winning concessions without damaging relationship. Is highly ethical, adhering to an appropriate and effective set of core values and beliefs during both good and bad times. Demonstrating consistent personal integrity and trustworthiness, keeping confidences, admitting mistakes and not making misrepresentations for personal gain. Remaining calm under pressure, not becoming defensive or irritated when times are tough, and not showing frustration when resisted or blocked. Excellent listener, having the patience to hear people out, accurately restating the opinions of others. Maintain a conscious balance between work and personal life, so that one doesn’t dominate the other.
