Road Service Diesel Technician

$35 - $40 per hour

If you're a diesel mechanic who enjoys independence, variety, and real earning power , this is the role for you. We're hiring a Road Service Diesel Technician based out of Chicopee, MA to support trucks, trailers, motor coaches, personal vehicles, and some heavy equipment across New England. This is a true field service position -you'll be trusted with your own company service truck, dispatched to emergency roadside calls, and backed by a responsive support and dispatch team.

Compensation & Perks

$35-$40/hour base pay

Schedule & Work Style

Monday-Friday availability between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Weekend availability required
On-call rotation required
Significant travel across New England interstates (often 50+ miles in any direction)

What You'll Be Doing

Perform emergency roadside repairs and mobile diagnostics on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment
Perform brake work, electrical work, tire removal and installation. AC and emission system maintenance.
Use modern diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues quickly
Communicate clearly with Dispatch, Parts, and Management to keep jobs moving
Maintain accurate documentation, invoices, and receipts
Provide professional, calm, customer-focused service

What We're Looking For

Diesel mechanic with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on repair experience
Comfortable working independently in roadside and outdoor environments
Experience with diesel diagnostic software
Valid drivers license
