Admin Assistant

Job Purpose:- The Admin Assistant at A1 Services (Propane, Solid Waste, Septic, Potable Water) reports to the A1 Services Manager and collaborates closely with A1 Services staff, Arapaho First Administration, and Finance. The role is integral in maintaining professional working relationships with customers, employees, vendors, and community members while supporting the daily operations of A1 Services.Key Responsibilities:- Answer phones and assist customers with inquiries and requests.- Process payments efficiently and accurately.- Maintain organized records and files, both electronic and physical.- Enter data into company systems with precision and attention to detail.- Prepare documents and reports as needed for internal and external use.- Schedule services and appointments, ensuring optimal time management.- Assist with billing processes and resolve any related issues.- Communicate effectively with staff and customers to ensure smooth operations.- Provide general clerical and administrative support to the A1 Services team.- Support daily business operations by managing office tasks and responsibilities.Requirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent- Must pass a drug test- Must pass a background check- Must maintain confidentialityRequired Experience:- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, data entry, and general office software- Ability to learn company systems specifically RCC Fuel & Propane Software, accurately enter information, maintain electronic records, and perform basic computer troubleshootingPreferred Experience:- Previous administrative or office experience, including customer service, billing, scheduling, data entry, filing, and recordkeeping- Experience with Microsoft Office, handling payments, working with customers, and supporting daily business operationsRequired Skills and Abilities:- Excellent computer skills- Proficient in clerical tasks and organizational skills- Strong customer service skills- Ability to communicate professionally- Capable of multitasking and managing records- Competence in handling confidential information- Ability to meet deadlines and solve basic problems- Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced office environmentPreferred Skills and Abilities:- Advanced organizational skills- Enhanced ability to manage records and maintain confidentiality- Strong problem-solving capabilities- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and adapt to changing priorities- Experience in a fast-paced office environmentEmployee Benefits:Health Insurance: Employee is eligible to apply within 60 days of initial hire.Delta Dental and VSP Insurances: Employee is eligible to apply within 60 days of initial hire date.Retirement plans up to a 4% match, employee must complete a 60 day probation period before eligible to apply.Employer has a paid basic life insurance.Arapaho First follows Indian Preference in hiring and retention per federal law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
