Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Psychiatric RN Travelers!

Job Description:


- Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (8hr nights / 40hr guaranteed)
- Location: Springfield Hospital, approx. 15 minutes from The Windham Center
- Unit: Inpatient 10-bed psychiatric unit
- Patient Population: Adults 18 years and older, including residents from Vermont, Sullivan and Cheshire counties in New Hampshire
- Referral Sources: Crisis teams, emergency departments, outpatient providers

Key Details:


- Requested Time Off (RTO) must be noted and verified at the time of submission
- No more than 5 days of RTO accepted (the fewer, the better)
- Travelers must work two blocks during holidays:
- Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after
- New Year's Eve through New Year Day and weekend after
- No billable orientation hours

Qualifications:


- Minimum of 2 years of current psychiatric nursing experience (required)
- Current phlebotomy experience (required)
- Ability to perform blood draws
- ACLS and CPI certifications strongly preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- Experience in small critical access facilities preferred
- Must have own vehicle
- Permanent address must be included in profile
- All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission
- No block scheduling considerations

- Skills Checklist RN/Psychiatry (current to 1 year - required)
- Skills Checklist Phlebotomy (current to 1 year - required)
- One supervisory signed reference from the past two years (required)
- Current Vermont RN license (required)
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
