About the Opportunity: Our semiconductor manufacturing client has an immediate opening for a Sr R&D Engineering Technician that is reporting to the Engineering Manager, this on-site role in Sparks, NV supports R&D by running advanced metrology/testing, building and calibrating prototypes, and partnering with engineers to troubleshoot and document results. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or Electrical Technician What Sets You Apart: General mechanical aptitude Semiconductor industry experience Experience applying engineering technology theories Ability to operate manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment and adhere to safety policies Capacity to function effectively in a cross-disciplinary research and development environment Familiarity with gas delivery products and principles Strong verbal and written communication skills Soldering and basic electrical test bench skills Able to exercise discretion and independent judgment for extemporary decisions Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
