Qualifications Certifications and Licensures BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required RN (Registered Nurse) license is required ACLS Certification if required by department RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion in lieu of education. Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid. Nurse Specialty certification is preferred Education Bachelors degree in Nursing, BS Healthcare related field, or RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification is required within 7 months of hire/promotion. Experience 2 years of RN experience in acute care is required.
