Who we are looking forSoftware Developer lead will contribute to the development, enhancement and maintenance of Transaction Management platform as leader of a global distributed team. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong development team and help to develop challenging new products in the financial space using cutting edge technology.What you will be responsible forAs a Senior Software Developer you willWork independently to develop, test, and debug software enhancements and solutions within the business and technical problem domainsBe able to handle projects / initiatives independently.Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs, applications and projects using cloud computing using Java or other related software engineering languagesLead / mentor teams and work across teams spread across different geographical locations.Write unit and automation tests to ensure a high quality end productParticipate in code reviewsActively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectivesTriage production issues by reviewing code and logs as needed and come up with solutionsWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleExcellent Java n-tier application experienceProgramming skillsJVM LanguagesCloud Computing; Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure/AWSFrameworks: Spring Boot, Kafka, MicroservicesDatabase - Oracle or other relational databasesEducation & Preferred Qualifications13+ years of commercial software development, proficient in developing multi-tier solutionsExperience in micro-services architecture and understanding of Cloud Computing is highly desirableBS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent fieldKnowledgeable of commercial software development,Professional Java development experience, core Java and MultithreadingExcellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skillsAble to work well with peers in a collaborative team environmentExperience working with an Agile development methodology is desiredExperience leading mid to large scale development teams.Additional requirementsAbility to understand business requirements and develop solutions to the business needsStrong communication skills, self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible.Strong desire to learn new things and adapt to various situations.Excellent leadership qualitiesWork RequirementOnsite 3 days a week in office and one day remoteStandard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs(8am to 5pm)Salary Range: $115,000 - $205,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
