Overview ProSearch is hiring on behalf of a well-respected client in Westbrook, Maine, for a Temporary Billing Data Associate. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a data-driven finance and billing team. This position is ideal for a data-savvy and tech-savvy professional with a background in accounting and financial operations. The Billing Data Associate will be responsible for pulling, analyzing, and reviewing data, processing billing transactions, and producing reports to support business decision-making. The role requires a strong understanding of numbers and the confidence and maturity to present financial data clearly and accurately. Job Details Job Title: Temporary Billing Data Associate Location: Westbrook, Maine (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office) Pay Range: $30–33 per hour Employment Type: Temporary Responsibilities Pull, clean, and analyze billing and financial data from various sources Process billing transactions accurately and on schedule Prepare financial and billing reports for internal teams and leadership review Use Microsoft Excel to build and maintain spreadsheets using advanced formulas and pivot tables Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of billing and reporting outputs Review financial records and billing discrepancies to resolve data or payment issues Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify billing processes, data needs, and reporting schedules Identify opportunities for process improvements in billing operations and data workflows Support financial documentation and data preparation for audits or internal reviews Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related business field 3+ years of experience in billing, data analysis, or financial operations Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial modeling Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills Comfort working with financial data, including interpreting trends, variances, and performance indicators Experience with financial systems such as SAP or subscription billing platforms like ChargeBee High attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus About the Work Environment Hybrid work model: Two days per week required onsite in the Westbrook, Maine office Temporary assignment with weekly hours aligned to a full-time schedule Collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on accuracy, efficiency, and improvement in financial operations Why Work Through ProSearch ProSearch is proud to partner with leading employers in Maine to offer contract and permanent opportunities that align with your skills and goals.
