Marketing Manager – Product Launches & Brand Communications

About the Opportunity

GripEdge Tools is looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives and help grow our brand. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional who enjoys developing strategies while rolling up their sleeves to execute campaigns, manage product launches, build media relationships, and coordinate creative projects.

You'll oversee marketing projects from concept through completion, working closely with designers, social media specialists, sales, product teams, and external partners. As the company expands into new markets, you'll have the opportunity to build marketing processes, develop the team, and grow into a senior marketing leadership position.

We're looking for an organized, creative, and results-driven marketer who can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Project Management

• Develop and manage the annual marketing plan, calendar, and budget in alignment with company and sales goals.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns and projects from initial planning through execution and delivery.
• Manage timelines, priorities, creative resources, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor campaign performance, track results, and report progress to leadership.

Public Relations & Brand Communications

• Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, trade publication articles, newsletters, and company announcements.
• Build relationships with industry publications, editors, media contacts, and influencers.
• Maintain consistent brand messaging across websites, social media, packaging, print materials, and sales collateral.
• Develop customer and distributor communications, product updates, and promotional campaigns.

Product Marketing & Launches

• Lead marketing initiatives for new product launches, including product positioning, messaging, launch campaigns, and follow-up.
• Coordinate product photography, demo videos, sell sheets, packaging copy, website content, Amazon listings, and distributor materials.
• Partner with sales and product teams to ensure launch materials and training resources are ready on time.
• Help communicate product features, benefits, and competitive advantages to customers and distributors.

Advertising, Sponsorships & Events

• Plan and manage print, digital, and trade advertising campaigns, including budgets, creative development, placements, and performance tracking.
• Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities, industry partnerships, and promotional programs.
• Coordinate marketing materials and communications for trade shows, industry events, and product promotions.
• Evaluate campaign and sponsorship performance to improve marketing effectiveness.

Social Media & Content Coordination

• Collaborate with the social media team to develop content calendars, campaign themes, and promotional plans.
• Align social content with product launches, advertising, events, and broader brand priorities.
• Review engagement metrics and audience growth to improve content strategy and performance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years managing projects, budgets, or people.
• Strong writing and communication skills, including experience with press releases, public relations, and brand messaging.
• Experience coordinating product launches and integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, and events.
• Ability to manage designers, creative teams, agencies, or other marketing partners.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Comfortable executing marketing work directly while also developing processes and leading others.
• Familiarity with marketing analytics, social media platforms, and project management tools.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in tools, hardware, manufacturing, automotive aftermarket, industrial products, or other B2B businesses.
• Experience supporting distributors, dealers, retailers, or sales teams with product marketing materials.
• Experience with Amazon product content, trade publications, sponsorships, and industry events.

In your first 12 months, you'll establish a clear marketing plan, coordinate successful product launches, strengthen media and industry relationships, organize content and campaigns, and implement processes for tracking marketing performance.
