Position: Physical Therapist (PT) Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Orlando Location: Orlando, FL Shift: Full-Time | Day Shift Pay Rate: Up to $53 per hour Position Summary The Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our interdisciplinary care team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality rehabilitative services that improve mobility, independence, and overall quality of life for our residents. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, posture, gait, and balance. Fit, educate, and train residents on the proper use of adaptive equipment, including orthotics and prosthetics. Select and apply appropriate physical modalities based on diagnosis and functional ability. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals to provide coordinated, resident-centered care. Monitor resident progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes accurately. Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs. Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings. Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and support staff. Lead in-service education sessions for clinical team members. Oversee ordering, maintenance, and proper use of therapy equipment and supplies. Qualifications Active, unrestricted Florida Physical Therapist license . Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail. Passion for working with seniors and enhancing quality of life through rehabilitative care.
