Job Details – Med-Surg RN

Position: Registered Nurse – Med-Surg / MS-Tele
Shift: Days, 3×12 — 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements

• 2+ years of RN experience
• Med-Surg experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• NIHSS preferred
• Epic experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Active RN license in hand at submission
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• COVID vaccination required — medical/religious exemptions allowed
• Flu vaccination required — medical/religious exemptions allowed

Schedule

• 3×12-hour shifts
• 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Every other weekend
• Holidays as needed
• Float may be required across all Cone Health facilities
• First-time travelers accepted

Submission Requirements

• Mandatory questionnaire must be completed before an offer can be made:
  1. Candidate aware they are being submitted to Cone and has reviewed the job description
  2. Candidate flexible with scheduling and aware of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness/unexcused absences
  3. Candidate has no barriers to completing compliance by the deadline
  4. Candidate aware of and willing to take the required EKG exam
• RTO must be included at submission
• No post-submission RTO accepted
• Third-party education verification required
• No open background cases
• Active license in hand
• Epic experience required
• Current driver's license required
• Compliance deadline: 12:00 PM EST Wednesday before the start date
