Are you the kind of leader who would rather be on the shop floor than stuck in an office?

We're looking for a hands-on Powder Coat & Final Assembly Supervisor to lead a small team while staying actively involved in the work. This isn't a clipboard-only management position. You'll oversee the entire finishing process-from blasting and powder coating to final assembly and shipment-while helping ensure every product leaving the facility meets the highest quality standards.

Our products aren't mass-produced parts rolling down an assembly line. We build custom metal furniture, shelters, benches, tables, trash receptacles, and specialty fabricated products that are installed throughout communities across the country.
What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of 3+ employees
• Manage the complete powder coating process including washing, drying, blasting, coating, and curing
• Coordinate workflow to keep projects moving on schedule
• Inspect incoming and finished parts for quality and finish consistency
• Read drawings and manage project specifications, colors, hardware, and part requirements
• Oversee final assembly, packaging, and shipment of finished products
• Maintain inventory of powder, blast media, chemicals, hardware, and packaging supplies
• Ensure department maintenance, quality standards, and documentation are completed accurately
• Work closely with fabrication and production leadership to hit deadlines and solve problems

What We're Looking For

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing or fabrication
• Experience with manual powder coating equipment preferred
• Media blasting or industrial finishing experience
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed specifications
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Someone who leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in when needed
• Quality-minded professional who takes pride in craftsmanship
