Company Description Padgett Hearing Aid Center helps individuals improve their quality of life by restoring and protecting their hearing. In addition to hearing aids, the center provides custom-molded hearing protection, including electronic, Bluetooth, rechargeable earplugs designed for shooting and loud industrial environments. Some products may be covered by insurance, and the team assists with coverage checks at no cost. Padgett Hearing Aid Center serves patients across multiple locations in Texas. Role Description The Patient Care Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Texarkana, TX. This position is responsible for welcoming patients, managing appointment scheduling, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Daily tasks include answering and directing phone calls, verifying basic patient information, coordinating care and follow-up visits, and supporting providers with patient flow. The Patient Care Coordinator also helps explain basic services, prepares patient charts, and maintains accurate records while delivering a friendly, professional experience. This role works closely with the hearing care team to support timely, compassionate patient care. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Appointment Scheduling skills and experience managing calendars or clinic schedules. Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette skills, including clear communication and courteous handling of patient calls. Candidates should possess Care Coordination skills, with the ability to organize follow-up visits and support smooth patient flow. Candidates should possess familiarity with Medical Terminology, especially related to hearing care or general healthcare settings. Candidates should possess a commitment to Patient Care, demonstrating empathy, patience, and a service-oriented mindset. Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a medical or hearing care office, basic computer and EMR skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
