Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on General Manager to lead day-to-day restaurant operations and build a strong, dependable team. The General Manager will be responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences, maintaining food quality and safety standards, controlling costs, and ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently.

This position is ideal for an experienced restaurant leader who enjoys working alongside the team, developing employees, solving problems, and taking ownership of overall restaurant performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations and ensure efficient, consistent service.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while creating a positive and accountable workplace.
• Lead shifts and support the team during busy service periods.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, preparation, presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Create employee schedules based on business needs and appropriate staffing levels.
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and maintain appropriate product levels while minimizing waste.
• Oversee cash handling, register operations, deposits, and daily sales reporting.
• Use restaurant POS and management systems to monitor sales and operational performance.
• Review labor, food costs, sales, and P&L results to identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Respond to guest questions or concerns professionally and work to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with applicable food handling, sanitation, and safety requirements.
• Support catering, large orders, special events, or other revenue opportunities when applicable.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Perform other management and operational duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience ; General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience preferred.
• Experience in quick-service, fast-casual, or other high-volume restaurant environments strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, train, schedule, and develop employees.
• Comfortable working alongside team members and operating restaurant registers when needed.
• Experience with POS and restaurant management systems; NCR, Synergy Suites, Aloha, Micros, or similar systems is a plus.
• Understanding of food preparation, kitchen operations, inventory management, and food safety.
• Experience managing labor, food costs, budgets, and restaurant profitability.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain certification as required.

What We're Looking For

We want a General Manager who takes ownership of the restaurant and leads from the front. The right candidate will be comfortable moving between managing employees, helping during service, reviewing numbers, solving operational issues, and interacting with guests.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Experience:
