Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Charlottesville, VA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown setting during night shifts
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed per facility float policy
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Adhere to all facility compliance policies, including scheduling and time-off guidelines
• Participate in specialty-specific orientation modules as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted for this unit)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit
• Previous travel nursing experience in a large academic or health system environment
