Job Details Position: Tele Registered Nurse (Telemetry RN) Employment Type: Travel Nurse Job Setting: Telemetry / Acute Care / Inpatient Hospital Location: Kansas City, KS 66160 Start Date: 09/13/2026 Contract Duration: 15 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 - $2,090 On-Call: None Weekend Requirement: Every weekend Floating: May occasionally float to acute care or overflow/surge units based on divisional needs Requirements Active Kansas RN license Current BLS certification required Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred At least 1 year of recent telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting Ability to work a set weekend-night schedule in a fast-paced acute care environment Comfortable adapting to float needs within related inpatient units Willingness to complete facility onboarding and training requirements prior to start Responsibilities Provide skilled bedside care to telemetry patients in a high-acuity inpatient setting Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per plan of care Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality patient care Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time Educate patients and families while promoting positive clinical outcomes Support overflow, acute care, or surge assignments when needed based on divisional requirements Why Join This Kansas City Healthcare Team?
