Role Description The Personal Lines Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham, AL. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of personal lines clients, including homeowners, auto, umbrella, and other individual coverages. Day-to-day activities include advising clients on coverage options, preparing quotes, processing policy changes, handling renewals, and responding to service requests in a timely, professional manner. The role involves collaborating with carriers to secure competitive terms, reviewing policy documents for accuracy, and proactively identifying coverage gaps or opportunities for improvement. The Personal Lines Account Executive will also support claims advocacy, maintain accurate client records in agency systems, and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment. Qualifications Strong client service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing. Solid knowledge of personal lines insurance products (home, auto, umbrella, specialty lines) and the ability to explain coverage options and policy language to clients. Proficiency with agency management systems, rating tools, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar applications). AMS360 a plus. Detail-oriented approach to documentation, policy review, and processing endorsements, renewals, and new business applications. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a collaborative, office-based setting. Active Property & Casualty insurance license in Alabama. Prior experience in an independent insurance agency or similar environment is preferred, particularly in personal lines account management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
