About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Operations, Construction to lead its nationwide telecommunications construction operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading a zero-incident safety culture, owning the P&L for all construction operations, and driving revenue growth and margin performance. This executive will also be tasked with leading and developing a team of Vice Presidents, standardizing processes and best practices, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. A key aspect of the role is to identify and pursue strategic contracts that generate sustainable, recurring revenue and strong margins. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive leadership experience in telecommunications construction or a related industry, with at least 7 years' at the VP level or equivalent. The role requires a deep knowledge of telecom construction, P&L management, and field management systems, as well as strong financial and operational analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a proven track record of scaling construction or field services operations. Executive presence, excellent communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to lead and hold senior leadership teams accountable. The position involves frequent travel and a commitment to championing a strong safety culture.
