About the Role
The Company is seeking an AVP for its BSA/AML Program Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the governance, reporting, and program coordination functions that support the BSA/AML and Sanctions compliance program. This role involves leading a team that centralizes and coordinates new business and product requests, develops and consolidates management and Board reporting, and supports the execution of program strategy and initiatives. The AVP will also be involved in capacity and staffing coordination, engagement and financial management, and team leadership to build out the function. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a financial crimes certification. A minimum of 8 years' experience in BSA/AML, sanctions, or financial crimes compliance, with at least 4 years in a governance or program management capacity, is required. The role demands a high level of technical knowledge in financial crimes, experience in preparing executive-level reporting, and a proven track record in people leadership. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence and manage stakeholders. Experience in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment and a background in Banking-as-a-Service, fintech partnership, or payments is a plus.
