Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Days

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings. The role involves independent decision-making, ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient education. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service through patient care, documentation, and team collaboration. Perform assessments, verify orders, administer therapies, and manage ventilators and airway devices. Educate patients, support staff, and precept new employees and students. Ensure patient safety, promote quality care, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Support invasive and non-invasive procedures, pulmonary testing, and cardiac procedures as needed. Maintain compliance with organizational policies and standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with a minimum of 20 science hours; Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's preferred. Certification as NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, and BLS; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required. 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
