Job Description Job Description "TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION CANDIDATES MUST HAVE AT LEAST THREE YEARS OF VERIFIABLE STONECUTTING AND GRANITE FABRICATION OR ONSITE MASONRY EXPERIENCE" Examples of work: This hiring is specifically geared towards those with stonecutting and/or granite fabrication experience (ie. finishers, edge workers, polishers, etc.). Looking for a hard-working, flexible and curious fabricator and laborer to support and participate in stone fabrication and handling operations. Those with raw material (especially natural stone) fabrication experience would be preferred. Immediate training to include stone slab finish processes (mostly thermal/flaming/torching) and rotary-arm tool operation for kerf cutting/edge tooling. These are integral processes to our fabrication workflow and will be the backbone of daily tasks for the immediate future. Beyond that, however, day-to-day responsibilities to include (but not be limited to): --Manual labor including handling of heavy stone material --Equipment maintenance, washdown and slurry (mud) management --Fork-lift and front-end loader operation --Immediate support of those involved in fabrication (ie. packaging, stone handling) --Actual fabrication tasks (rubbing, grinding, honing, slab finishing, etc.) This is not a typical landscape or masonry position but experience in those trades would be a benefit. Fabrication abilities (ie. machine management, blueprint/drawing comprehension) would be highly valued. Days often present varied tasks. Ability to manage a diverse workflow and interact kindly and patiently with all staff a must. The working environment is often outdoors and subject to weather fluctuations.
