Assembly Operator – 3rd Shift
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling components, operating automated equipment, performing quality inspections, and maintaining production records while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components according to process sheets and work instructions
- Operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment
- Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect products and document quality results
- Perform secondary operations such as marking, labeling, and packaging
- Maintain accurate inventory and production records
- Complete preventative maintenance checks on equipment
- Report quality or equipment issues to supervisors
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and eliminate non-value-added activities
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
