Anesthesia Technician // Certified Medical Assistant $22/hour $880 weekly base pay Onsite Local Contract Starts 9/21/2026 14 weeks Job Description 10 hours/day 4 days/week Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Phoenixville, PA Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday Shift: Core hours between 7:45 AM and 5:00 PM ; flexibility required. Exact schedule will be discussed during the interview. Interview: In-person, onsite Position Overview Client is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy family medicine practice with a strong team environment and long-tenured staff. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity , and candidates must be interested and willing to convert to a full-time Penn Medicine staff position. Commute Requirement: Candidates should be able to commute to the practice within 30 minutes or less . Key Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for provider visits. Obtain and document patient vital signs. Perform phlebotomy and other clinical support duties. Use the EMR to alert providers when patients are ready. Review and document: Past medical history Surgical history Family history Smoking history Allergies Current medications Provide additional clinical and administrative support as assigned. Maintain a patient-focused and professional approach in a busy family practice environment. Required Qualifications 2 years of CMA experience in a physician office or outpatient medical practice setting. Strong clinical and patient-care skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Must be flexible with the Monday–Friday schedule. Must be interested in converting to a full-time Penn Medicine staff position after the temporary assignment. Preferred Qualifications EPIC EMR experience is a plus and should be clearly highlighted on the resume. Previous family medicine or primary care experience preferred. Training EMR Training: Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM, including a 1-hour break. Penn HIPAA Module: Approximately 15 minutes.
