With over 900 talented people our shared purpose and core beliefs are to be #FIERCE about Protecting Lives.Purpose of Position: The Quality Supervisor, as driver of execution and best practice, is responsible for leading the Quality Engineering team, ensuring that Quality is systematically, proactively, and collaboratively embedded into the Value Streams, whilst delivering against Quality initiatives and projects. They develop and lead a high performing team, that delivers certainty into production through maintained workmanship standards and sustained feedback and training. Scrap, MRB, non-conformance, and in-process correction is monitored. Trends are reported. Problem areas are targeted and appropriate action is taken to ensure production goals are met. Risk to customer, product, schedule, or supply chain are escalated into Quality and Operations leadership. Customer complaints, corrective actions, improvement opportunities, and complex problem solving activities are lead. Quality standards and processes are standardized across Value Streams.Role PurposeLead, develop, and train a high performing Quality Team, including regular feedback, coaching, and counseling where necessaryScrap, MRB, Non-Conformance, and In-Process Correction is monitored and reported by Value StreamDepartmental reporting (Lead tier 1 & 2, support tier 3)Deliver targeted improvement towards Scrap, MRB, Non-Conformance, and In-Process Correction by Value StreamStandardize quality standards and processes across Value StreamsLead Customer Complaints, Corrective & Preventative Action, and Root Cause Analysis resulting in sustainable Quality improvementsIdentify opportunities for Continuous ImprovementSupport and/or Lead Quality KaizenSupport New Product IntroductionSafety observations are quickly communicated and escalated where necessaryDesired SkillsSupervisory and/or leadership experienceStrong statistical & analytical skills, and attention to detailExperience with statistical software such as SQC Pack or Minitab®Proficient in structured root cause analysis and problem-solving techniquesKnowledge and experience with ISO-9000 Quality Management Systems and supplier, process, and internal auditKnowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAPKnowledge of measurement, inspection, testing and calibration methods, including experience with Gage R&RExcellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to deliver in fast paced and changing manufacturing environmentExtensive use of Microsoft Office applications such as outlook, teams, word, excel and power point is requiredRequired QualificationsMinimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or similar fieldASQ Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Manager of Quality certification preferredASQ Six Sigma Green belt or above preferredASQ Certified Quality Auditor preferredOr relevant industrial experienceWhat We OfferFlexible ScheduleCompetitive Compensation PackageMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance401k MatchingTuition ReimbursementLearning and Development Initiatives
