Custom Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Custom Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Minneapolis, MN . The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Java Spring Boot Microservices and React/Angular development, along with a solid understanding of modern application architecture and full-stack software engineering principles.

Rate Range: $35/hour to $38/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Custom Software Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java Spring Boot microservices and full-stack web applications.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React or Angular .
• Analyze business and technical requirements to define and deliver innovative application solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and application performance.
• Support application enhancements, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering , or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot Microservices .
• 3+ years of experience with React and/or Angular development .
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, microservices architecture, and API development.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI-enabled applications or platforms .
• Healthcare industry knowledge, particularly in:
  
  • Utilization Management
  • Care Management
  • Clinical Health Systems
• Experience with cloud technologies and modern DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and container-based deployments.
• Experience working with large application portfolios and enterprise modernization initiatives.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour
