Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Brazosport - Lake Jackson, TX 77566 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: Masters Degree Job Category: Education Classification Title Adjunct - Art Instructor (Pool) Department Art Physical Demands Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, hearing, and talking. Job Summary/Basic Function Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part‑time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College. Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part‑time basis. Academic departments will contact potential applicants when there are available openings. Job Duties Reports to the Division Chair of Communications and Fine Arts Teaches Art classes using traditional and alternative delivery method College Benefits College benefits do not accrue with this part‑time position. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Minimum of an Master’s Degree in Art (Fine Arts) or a master’s degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours in art from a regionally accredited college or university Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods Excellent written and oral communication skills Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern Association (SACS) minimum educational credentials are met #J-18808-Ljbffr BRAZOSPORT COLLEGE
