Join a dynamic, forward-thinking team as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator where you'll play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing mission-critical Oracle database environments for a leading organization. This long-term contract opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) in either Charlotte or St. Louis, with exposure to both on-premises and cloud-based systems. Responsibilities

- Manage, monitor, and maintain high-availability Oracle database systems, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
- Implement and oversee Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication and synchronization.
- Proactively monitor database performance, respond to alerts, and resolve complex issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including backups, recovery, patching, and security management.
- Support and participate in cloud migration projects (GCP, AWS).
- Lead incident resolution efforts, serve as a technical resource during critical support calls, and document best practices.
- Manage user profiles and enforce security protocols to ensure compliance and data integrity.

Required Skills and Experience

- 6+ years as an Oracle DBA with proven expertise in on-premises environments.
- In-depth experience with Oracle GoldenGate and replication tools.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and performance optimization skills.
- Hands-on experience with database maintenance, backups, recovery, and security.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with database migrations to cloud or hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of patching and upgrade methodologies.
