Underwriting Supervisor

Leading a high-performing underwriting team remotely, the full-time Underwriting Supervisor will mentor staff, oversee underwriting operations, and ensure compliance with quality standards while supporting strategic initiatives in the crop insurance sector. Key responsibilities Lead, develop, and manage underwriting staff through training, coaching, and performance management Oversee underwriting operations, maintain workflow expertise, and assist with business processing as needed Evaluate underwriting information and make final underwriting determinations while ensuring compliance with guidelines Required qualifications A minimum of six years of relevant underwriting experience Previous experience in the agriculture or crop insurance industry A bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience Ability to apply underwriting principles and practices in strategic work Knowledge of industry changes and legal updates related to crop insurance
