Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage incoming supplier and vendor invoices, execute financial processing, and maintain strict accuracy across our accounting operations. In this role, you will be responsible for coding supplier costs, verifying purchase order transmittals, and ensuring timely payment execution.
This is a critical financial operations role that requires high accuracy and strong communication skills. You will work cross-functionally with procurement and administrative teams, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve billing discrepancies to keep financial workflows running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
Invoice Processing & Reconciliation
• Invoice Management: Code, review, and process high-volume supplier and vendor invoices, ensuring proper purchase orders (POs) and internal approvals are secured.
• Three-Way Matching & Auditing: Match invoices against POs, audit receipts, and perform monthly reconciliation of supplier statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Payment Execution: Prepare and execute electronic funds transfers (EFTs) and payment runs according to established financial schedules and approval frameworks.

Collaboration & Record Keeping
• Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for external suppliers and internal stakeholders, resolving billing inquiries and clearing up discrepancies promptly.
• Expense & Record Administration: Process employee expense claims and corporate credit card statements. Maintain accurate supplier master files and electronic filing systems in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience Baseline: 2 to 3+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable, financial processing, or general accounting.
• System Proficiency: Demonstrated experience working with enterprise accounting systems, specifically Oracle or Oracle Fusion.
• Accounting Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of basic accounting principles, general ledgers, three-way matching processes, and financial controls.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional numerical accuracy with a proven ability to audit data, spot discrepancies, and manage high-volume workflows under tight deadlines.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for effective vendor and cross-functional collaboration.
