ServiceNow BCM Developer

Title : ServiceNow BCM Developer Location : Sunnyvale, CA and Austin, TX (3 days work from office) Long Term Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow BCM Developer to design, develop, and implement Business Continuity Management solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with ServiceNow modules, strong scripting capabilities, and a solid understanding of BCM processes, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, and disaster recovery planning. Years of experience needed – 6 to 8 years of experience as Service Now Developer Responsibilities / Experience – Design and develop ServiceNow BCM solutions aligned with organizational continuity requirements. Configure and customize ServiceNow BCM modules, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Risk Assessment, and Continuity Plans. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations within ServiceNow. Maintain and enhance existing BCM implementations to improve efficiency and compliance. Integrate ServiceNow with third‑party systems and tools where required. Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Ensure adherence to ITSM best practices and organizational standards. Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures. Qualifications/Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience implementing or supporting ServiceNow BCM or GRC modules. Experience with ServiceNow platform features such as Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST SOAP APIs. Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Experience working in Agile Scrum environments. Preferred/Good‑to‑have skills: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS‑GRC/BCM). Experience with Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), and risk management frameworks. Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 22301, ISO 27001, or NIST.
