We are in search of a qualified ABMG/ABP-certified professional, specializing in Molecular Genetics , to join our busy multi-subspecialty practice as the Associate Laboratory Medical Director. The ideal candidate will possess experience in molecular genetic laboratory testing, clinical assay development and validation, quality control, and assurance, as well as the interpretation of lab results and consultation with healthcare providers. This role also entails both clinical and administrative oversight of the Molecular Genetics Laboratory.

• Collaborate with 11 other established Pathologists to deliver a comprehensive range of care.

• Access to on-site ancillary services, including laboratory, radiology, and an infusion center.

• Utilize a state-of-the-art 50,000 sq ft centralized laboratory equipped for pathology, cytology, immunohistochemistry, and digital lab services supporting advanced diagnostics.

Qualifications

• MD, MD/PhD, or DO is required.
• Board Certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology.
• Board Certification in Molecular Genetics Pathology.
• Must be licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey and New York.
• Possess a NJ Bioanalytical License.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-board certification experience in clinical cytogenetics and molecular diagnostics laboratories is preferred.
• Experience in both germline and somatic genetic testing is preferred.
