As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company, explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives and discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers. In this role, you’ll lead cross‑functional challenges, navigate ambiguity and changes inherent in AI work and new agentic experiences, and balance competing priorities across teams. By driving operational excellence and technical breakthroughs, you will sit at the intersection of AI innovation and product delivery, fundamentally changing how users interact with their devices through proactive automation. You will guide collaborative efforts while managing intricate dependencies, technical risks, and resource constraints. The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's computing software platforms across desktop, mobile and applications, as well as first‑party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams in this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make user interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences worldwide. Key Responsibilities Lead complex program execution across multiple teams and organizations. Define and publish key milestones and metrics to track progress and drive continuous improvement. Create automated processes to enhance monitoring and velocity, leveraging AI/ML tools and technologies to identify and implement process improvements for the larger team. Lead the planning and execution for contributing efforts and projects in the Agentic Automation pillar. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage escalations, and unblock obstacles to ensure smooth delivery and evolution.
