Technical Program Manager I, Carrier Testing, Devices and Services Google - Mountain View, CA, USA Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 1 year of experience in program management. Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) or antenna testing and characterization using lab equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, or signal generators). Experience in software development using C/C++, Python, and SQL for automation or robotics control. Preferred Qualifications Experience with regulatory processes and requirements for wireless consumer products, such as 3GPP, FCC, and CTIA. Experience with wireless communication standards and implementation (including but not limited to 5GNR, LTE, GNSS, and 802.1). Experience developing clear test plans to evaluate performance, identify the root cause of any discrepancies, and troubleshoot problems with devices and test platforms. Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with Modem Systems, Antenna, RF, and Software teams to deliver high‑quality Pixel products. Develop test plans for mobile devices and validate LTE and NR system performance in conducted and over‑the‑air (OTA) test environments. Execute and manage US carrier RF OTA certification and customer test site validation throughout the product lifecycle. Drive debugging sessions, verify test results, and deliver reports to ensure products meet carrier standards. Identify and establish automatic methodologies to enhance existing practices and improve testing efficiency.
