Duration: 5 Months 8/17/2026 to 1/31/2027 Job Description:
- Responsible for the daily management of laboratory samples and document retention systems.
- Support the processing team in sample preparation and analysis of forage samples.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Support processing teams with sample processing and testing. Tasks include but are not limited to sample grinding, NIR scanning, labeling, and weighing.
- Participate in lab housekeeping program and follow designated policy
- Proactive focus on workplace safety and shows initiative to work safely and follow policy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and associated tools
Position Criteria:
- At least one year of relevant experience
- Work effectively within a team, with strong communication skills
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Education:
- High School Diploma
Miscellaneous Position Notes :
- Leather shoes are required for laboratory work. It is the contractor's responsibility to have adequate footwear prior to work start date.
- Contact lenses are not allowed in the laboratory.
- Various ingredient samples that may contain potential allergens are handled routinely in this facility. Including but not limited to milk, peanuts, eggs, tree nuts, soy, gluten, fish, and shellfish.
- A clean shave will be required for tasks requiring respirator use
