Radiology - Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Location: Vancouver, Washington Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $101 - $108/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a locum tenens assignment in Vancouver, Washington. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP):

Perform fluoroscopic studies with support from radiologic technologists, including operating fluoroscopy equipment Provide final interpretation and sign reports under the oversight of a supervising radiologist who will conduct random chart audits Independently perform all required fluoroscopic studies following training and proctoring Perform required procedures: Esophagram, Upper GI, Upper GI Small Bowel Follow Through, and Modified Barium Swallow Perform preferred procedures: Barium Enema Single Contrast and Barium Enema with Air Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) on Modified Barium Swallow studies, with each provider completing their respective portions of the exam Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings (0.75 FTE outpatient, 0.25 FTE inpatient) See an average of 810 patients per day across a young adult to elderly patient population Work Monday through Friday, 07301600 (8-hour shifts) Provide documentation (case list) of at least 100 patients representative of requested privileges within the previous 24 months, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility Provide documentation of at least 5 procedures for each listed procedure type within the past 24 months for credentialing purposes Participate in proctoring program to achieve full credentialing and privileging for all listed procedures Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation Maintain current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) Adhere to COVID-19 vaccination requirements
