What Youll Be Doing As our Sous Chef, youll be the right hand to the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager helping lead our culinary operations from prep to plate. Youll inspire your team, craft unforgettable dishes, and keep everything running as smooth as a perfect bechamel. Heres a taste of your day-to-day: Oversee daily production for catering and hot bar services. Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain the highest standards. Ensure every dish looks as good as it tastes consistent, fresh, and full of flavor. Coordinate catering orders with precision and flair. Maintain food safety, sanitation, and allergen standards like a pro. Manage kitchen inventory and ingredient ordering. Keep open communication with front-of-house teams to ensure flawless service. What Were Looking For Were searching for a motivated, hands-on culinary leader whos ready to take their next step in the kitchen. Youre organized under pressure, love mentoring others, and can balance big orders without missing a garnish. Youll need: High school diploma or GED Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a fast-paced kitchen 2+ years in a Sous Chef or supervisory role (retail or catering preferred) Strong knowledge of commercial food production and portion control Familiarity with dietary restrictions and allergen protocols Excellent communication and time management skills ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) The Perks We take care of our team like family.
