Base Pay $24.00 - $24.00 / Hour Employee Type Part Time Reports to: Facility Manager Schedule: Part-time, 20–25 hours/week, Monday–Friday (potential conversion to full-time based on operational need) Compensation: $24.00/hr FLSA Status: Non-Exempt About the Role MVI Field Services operates the maintenance program for the LAX Rental Car Center (RCC) — the largest rental car facility in the world, serving all on‑site rental car tenants around the clock, 365 days a year. We are adding a dedicated Facility Operations Coordinator to our LAX team. This is not a generic admin role: you will be the operational backbone that keeps work orders moving, documentation current, and our technicians focused on hands‑on maintenance instead of paperwork. Core Responsibilities Work Order Management: Intake, track, update, and close out work orders in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Ensure every request is logged, assigned, and documented through completion. This is the primary focus of the role — streamlining the paperwork pipeline so technicians can stay on the floor. Inspections: Conduct and document routine facility inspections (visual walkthroughs, equipment checks, common‑area conditions). Log findings in the CMMS system and escalate maintenance issues to technicians or the Facility Manager. Inventory Tracking: Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts, supplies, and consumables. Track stock levels, flag reorder points, and coordinate with vendors for replenishment. Keep inventory records current in the system. PM Scheduling Support: Coordinate preventive maintenance scheduling with technicians and the Facility Manager. Maintain the PM calendar and flag upcoming deadlines. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare, organize, and file inspection reports, regulatory documentation, and tenant‑coordination records. Keep audit‑ready files at all times. Reporting: Compile data for monthly operating reviews, performance reports, and internal MVI reporting. Format and distribute reports on schedule. Office & Administrative Support: Handle incoming/outgoing correspondence, manage office supplies, answer phones, greet visitors, coordinate vendor access and escort logistics, and maintain the site office. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or office coordinator role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Professional demeanor — you will interact with tenants, JCI personnel, and LAWA representatives. Preferred Experience with a CMMS or work order management system (e.g., Maximo, Corrigo, ServiceChannel). Familiarity with facilities management, building operations, or airport environments. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
