Emergency Medicine Physician

Location : Louisiana

Schedule : Emergency department coverage with variable shifts.

Position Overview

Provide emergency department coverage in a critical access hospital setting using an established team model.

Work Environment

• Annual ED volume: approximately 19,000
• EMR: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Active Louisiana medical license
• Active Louisiana DEA registration and controlled substance registration
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine as accepted by the client

Certifications

• ACLS
• ATLS and PALS may be required depending on board certification pathway
