Senior Plant Accountant

- High-impact role supporting plant operations and leadership
- Hands-on ownership of inventory, costing, and financial reporting
- Opportunity to drive process improvements and reduce close timelines
- Exposure to manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams
- Monday-Friday schedule with potential for overtime
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for plant operations
- Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, overhead, materials) and provide actionable insights
- Manage inventory accounting, cycle counts, and reconciliations
- Support month-end close including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Partner with operations to monitor costs and improve profitability
- Track capital expenditures and support fixed asset accounting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory processes
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, JDE, or similar preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams
