Accountant

Accountant Key Requirements:

• Strong background in general accounting principles and practices
• Experience processing payroll and managing accounts payable
• Skilled in account reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and Excel (advanced level preferred)
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Demonstrated experience with journal entries and financial reconciliations
• Familiarity with expense reports, commissions, and per diem tracking
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting with scheduled onsite and remote days
• Prior experience supporting process improvements or SOP development is a plus

Accountant Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee payroll processing and related activities
• Manage labor allocations and employee expense reimbursements
• Reconcile corporate credit card and AMEX accounts
• Handle accounts payable functions and vendor payments
• Prepare and review month-end journal entries
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting
• Assist in evaluating and enhancing accounting workflows
• Collaborate with finance leaders to implement efficiencies and best practices
• Ensure accuracy in expense reports and compliance processes
