Accountant - Full-Time (Hospital-Based, On-Site) MLR Healthcare is partnering with a community hospital near Sunbury, Ohio, to hire a dedicated Accountant for a full-time, on-site role. - Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week, no weekends or holidays!
- Manage and organize financial transactions and accounting records.
- Generate accurate and timely financial reports.
- Provide budgetary assistance and financial reports to Directors.
- Ensure timely completion of all reporting requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare, verify, allocate, and post journal entries.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain accuracy.
- Prepare and present financial reports as requested.
- Analyze financial data as needed.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Adapt to different financial and reporting software systems.
- Self-insured organization with low annual deductibles: $250 for individuals, $500 for families. All services are covered at 100% after meeting the deductible.
- Attractive retirement and pension benefits: Contribute 3% of wages, with an additional 3% match after one year of service and 1,000 hours worked, totaling 7.5%.
