B2 Outbound Pick and Replenishment Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Outbound Pick and Replenishment Supervisor leads daily warehouse operations, managing receiving, shipping and inventory to meet service and cost objectives. Responsibilities include planning inbound/outbound volume, managing space and equipment, and supervising staff through hiring, training, performance appraisal, and labor scheduling.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain safe, efficient systems and procedures for warehouse operations. Ensure compliance with client SLAs, KPI requirements, and quality system standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Plan daily work schedules, assign duties, and prioritize workload based on time sensitivity. Oversee training programs to meet SOPs and client system requirements. Maintain high team motivation, provide coaching, and enforce fair supervision. Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Report critical operational issues to senior management and client representatives. Manage inventory, space reorganization, and supply levels to support operations. Ensure proper use of equipment, including MHE, and conduct safety audits. Support budgeting and cost control to meet prescribed financial goals. Conduct regular staff meetings to review work activities and address concerns.

OTHER DUTIES

Work overtime as required by business demands. Perform additional duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage warehouse operations supervisors and support staff.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in logistics/distribution or a related environment. 5+ years in a supervisory role. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and WMS systems. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work in unregulated temperatures and adaptable to fast‑paced environments. Fluent in English; business communication proficiency at all levels. Attention to detail, accuracy, and timely task completion. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends. Good understanding of safety and regulatory requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Handling and fingering, sitting Bending (frequent) Walking and standing (constant) Lifting 21-50 pounds, reaching above shoulder, squatting, or kneeling.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The environment is generally low to moderate noise; employees are rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Light to moderate physical effort is required during routine tasks.
