A2 Outbound Pick and Replenishment Supervisor

Position Summary Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Outbound Pick and Replenishment Supervisor is responsible for day‑to‑day site operations, including supervising warehousing, receiving, and shipping of products in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Responsibilities include planning inbound and outbound volume, customer communication, space utilization, equipment management, hiring and training, labor management planning, performance appraisals, and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities Develop systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment, and products safely and profitably. Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals in compliance with client SLAs. Drive continuous improvement efforts and recommend cost‑saving measures. Meet client‑specified KPIs and comply with quality system requirements. Apply sound communication and motivational techniques to supervise fairly and equitably; counsel and discipline staff as needed. Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, training, and professional development; participate in performance evaluation systems. Deliver results by leveraging team skills at the right time; keep senior management and client representatives informed of critical operational issues. Plan daily work schedules by reviewing work orders and customer instructions; assign duties to appropriate staff. Review volume demand to plan warehouse space reorganization and staffing changes. Ensure effective training delivery and adherence to SOPs (DSV and client). Maintain high motivation and customer satisfaction levels among team members. Support adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct routine staff meetings. Ensure all team members are trained on required information systems (including WMS) and maintain computer hardware/software in line with IT policies. Provide high‑level customer service, coordinate supplier/customer visits, and promote positive client relationships. Support annual operating budget development and manage controls to meet cost, revenue, and profit targets. Manage equipment and facilities maintenance programs; ensure staff are trained on material handling equipment. Achieve safety goals (IFR, safety metrics) through proactive culture and regular audits. Work overtime as required and perform other duties assigned. Supervise warehouse operations supervisors and support staff. Skills & Abilities Strong leadership, supervisory, planning, and communication skills. Excellent organizational and personnel management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and applicable WMS systems. Adaptability to change and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends. Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree. Seven years of experience in logistics, distribution, or a related environment. Five years of supervisory experience. Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures ranging from mild to moderate during warmer and colder months.
