About the Position

Job Title

Surgical Technologist – Evening Shift (8-Hour)

Tacoma, WA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | On-Site | Evening Shift (06:45 – 19:15)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub in and provide intraoperative support across pediatric surgical cases
• Demonstrate proficiency scrubbing in at least two pediatric surgical service lines (e.g., ENT and orthopedics)
• Operate within an 8-OR surgical environment focused on pediatric patient populations
• Maintain CST certification and adhere to all applicable surgical and sterile technique standards
• On-call and holiday coverage available on an optional basis

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Washington State surgical technologist license required
• Minimum of 5 years of surgical technologist experience
• Demonstrated expertise scrubbing in at least 2 pediatric surgical service lines (such as ENT and orthopedics)
• Must be an experienced traveler — first-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple pediatric surgical specialties beyond ENT and orthopedics
• Familiarity working in high-volume, multi-OR surgical environments
