Job Title: CW 2nd Shift Transaxle Test Support Technician Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transaxle Test Support Technician to join our team for the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting dyno bench testing, ensuring accurate software downloads, and monitoring tests effectively.

• Conduct dyno bench testing by selecting appropriate patterns and downloading necessary software.
• Initiate and monitor tests to ensure accurate results.
• Support hourly team members and assist in data analysis.
• Collaborate with other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.

• Experience with dyno bench testing, particularly in engine and transaxle testing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in bench dyno testing, with a preference for transaxle testing.
• 2 to 5 years of experience installing, removing, and repairing transaxles in a service environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical Degree or Certification, such as an associate degree in automotive technology or mechanical engineering.

• Experience in general automotive repair.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.

This position operates during the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The role requires working in a dynamic environment focused on testing and development, with opportunities to collaborate with a skilled team. A commitment to maintaining safety and precision in all testing procedures is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, MI.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
