Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care for laboring mothers and postpartum patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates using GE fetal monitors.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursery nurses and OB techs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infant security protocols.
• Document patient care in Meditech and CPN EMR systems.
• Participate in all required certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state endorsement.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience.
• Experience with postpartum care and newborn assessments.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP & AWHONN Fetal monitoring certifications required.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work every third weekend and cover 12-hour on-call shifts per month.
